Shelby McKay Parker is a Southern Belle originally from North Carolina, and currently based in Chicago, Illinois! After graduating with her MFA in Acting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she moved to Chicago to continue pursuing opportunities in film, television and theatre.

Since being in the city, she has worked with The Beautiful City Project, Big Noise Theatre and participated in workshops with Remy Bumppo. Additionally, she has choreographed and taught classes with Ovation Performing Arts. Shelby has also been involved in projects like Dark Matter on AppleTV and commercials such as Blue Cross, Blue Shield.

 

As an actor, her mission is to serve each story she tells, sparking curiosity and encouraging exploration of perspectives that audiences may not have encountered before. Her dedication to the craft allows her to bring authenticity and depth to every role, fostering a deeper understanding of the world around us.
