I grew up with my mother reading me countless stories. She would create voices that fit each character perfectly. Meanwhile my father would create his own bedtime stories of animals going on adventures to far-off lands. When I was in 5th grade, I played the titular role of Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I remember wanting to make the bite of the apple and the fall so real, to the point where when I allowed the apple to roll out of my hand down the stairs, a gymnasium full of elementary schoolers gasped. I knew then that I wanted to tell stories for the rest of my life. Now, I am creating art in the Windy City of Chicago after having graduated with my MFA in Acting from the Savannah College of Art and Design and BFA in Musical Theatre from the South Carolina School of the Arts. Some of my favorite roles have included Wendla in Spring Awakening, #7 in the Wolves and Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. As an actor, my mission is to serve each story I tell, sparking curiosity and encouraging exploration of perspectives that audiences may not have encountered before. My dedication to the craft allows me to bring authenticity and depth to every role, fostering a deeper understanding of the world around us.
